Day 2 — Beijing
Begin your exploration of Beijing, China’s capital city, with a visit to the historic Tiananmen Square, the symbolic heart of modern China. Surrounded by Tiananmen Gate Tower, the Monument to the People’s Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, and the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, it remains one of the country’s most important landmarks.
Afterwards, continue to the Forbidden City, the vast imperial palace complex that once served as the exclusive residence of emperors and the royal family, forbidden to ordinary people for centuries.

Day 3 — Beijing
Today, you will visit the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall, renowned for its magnificent scenery and beautiful mountain landscapes. This is one of the quietest and most scenic sections of the Great Wall and will undoubtedly become one of the highlights of your journey.
Accompanied by your private guide, you will hike along the Great Wall for approximately four hours, passing between historic watchtowers and scenic mountain ridges before returning to the starting point.
After the tour, we will transfer you back to Beijing.

In the morning, you will join a private breakfast tour to sample a curated selection of traditional Beijing breakfast specialties. During this three-hour experience, you will wander through Beijing’s historic hutongs, lined with narrow alleyways and well-preserved traditional courtyard residences, offering a glimpse into traditional Beijing life.
In the afternoon, you will visit Sony ExploraDream, an interactive science and technology museum featuring immersive exhibitions and creative experiences, followed by an exciting Kung Fu performance in the evening.

Day 5 — Xi’an
Early this morning, you will join a private Tai Chi lesson with a professional instructor and learn the fundamentals of this ancient martial art.
Afterwards, accompanied by your private guide, you will visit the Temple of Heaven, a historic imperial altar complex set within a beautiful tree-lined park where you can observe local residents practicing traditional exercises and dancing.
Later, you will be transferred to Beijing West Railway Station to board the high-speed train to Xi’an, a journey of approximately 5.5 hours. Upon arrival, your private guide and driver will meet you at the station and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 6 — Xi’an
This morning, accompanied by your private guide, you will visit Xi’an’s most iconic attraction — the Terracotta Warriors. Even if you have previously read about these ancient figures, witnessing their immense scale and astonishing number in person is truly unforgettable.
Discovered in 1974 by local farmers digging a well, the Terracotta Warriors have since become one of China’s most significant archaeological discoveries.
Lunch will be served at a local family home, where you will have the opportunity to chat with residents and gain insight into their daily lives.
After lunch, enjoy a cycling tour along the Xi’an Ancient City Wall. Originally built during the Ming Dynasty and now beautifully restored, the wall offers magnificent views over the city while showcasing the impressive scale of ancient Chinese architecture.
The final stop of the day is the Muslim Quarter, where you can stroll through narrow alleyways lined with old brick buildings, butcher shops, small sesame oil workshops, and the Great Mosque of Xi’an.

Day 7 — Chengdu
You will be transferred to Xi’an North Railway Station and board a high-speed train to Chengdu, a journey of approximately four hours.
Upon arrival, your private guide and driver will meet you at the station and transfer you to your hotel.
Before tonight’s Sichuan Opera performance, you will have some free time to explore the city at your own pace. Sichuan Opera is a traditional performing art famous for dramatic techniques including face-changing performances, fire-breathing performances, and sword performances.

Today, you will visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, one of the best places to observe China’s giant pandas up close, as well as other species such as the smaller red panda.
In the afternoon, visit a bamboo forest park and learn how to play mahjong with local residents in a traditional teahouse.

Day 9 — Guilin
Spend the day exploring the Leshan Giant Buddha. Carved into the cliffside overlooking the confluence of the Minjiang, Qingyi, and Dadu Rivers, the 71-meter-tall Buddha is one of the largest Buddha statues in the world.
After the visit, enjoy a comfortable drive back toward Chengdu with a short stop at Huanglongxi Ancient Town before your evening flight to Guilin. With a history of approximately 1,700 years, this ancient town has been carefully restored in recent years. Its old streets, ancient trees, temples, river docks, and traditional residences vividly reflect traditional Chinese life in centuries past.
In the evening, board your flight to Guilin. Upon arrival, your private guide and driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 13 — Shanghai
This morning, join a private food walking tour through the tree-lined streets of Shanghai’s former French Concession.
Along the way, you will visit hidden local eateries and street stalls known mostly to residents, sampling a variety of regional specialties including Shanghai’s famous xiaolongbao (soup dumplings).
Afterwards, learn how to make dumplings under the guidance of a local chef before enjoying your own handmade creations.
The afternoon is free for independent exploration. We recommend visiting the Jade Buddha Temple, one of the few active Buddhist temples still operating in Shanghai, or strolling along the historic Bund to admire the skyline of Pudong.
Fuxing Park and Yu Garden are also excellent places to visit, especially in the early morning when local residents gather for exercise and social activities.
